Arrivée boston, nous empruntons de longs tunnels en taxi pour rejoindre de l'aéroport,le coeur de la ville.
ces tunnels (sumer tunnel) nous fond rouler sous les eaux en fait !!
visite panoramique de la ville au 5ième étage du Prudential Tour.

nous avons récupéré notre première auto, une ford focus !
déçu par le début du voyage :portland, cape élisabeth,
un mieux mais rien d'exceptionnel : kennebunkport.
la partie agréable débuta à agunquit Arret,
cape neddick, portsmouth, (sans plus),
le plus mignon, Rockport !!
salem aussi mais arrivé trop tard pour la visite.
nous avons terminé notre première longue journée routière à Brewster.
notre hotel est une villa toute équipée, machine à laver et secher le linge compris !!
nous y restons 2 nuits.
ce matin visite de sandwitch, Dennis, eastham, wellfeet, truro...
de bien belles autos de vues tout au long de ce trajet de près de 600 kms !!
beaucoup de corvette, mustang, hummer !

de notre périple aujourd'hui sur cape cod, nous ne retiendrons que la visite du micro musée auto (heritage museums & gardens) à sandwich et le village de provincetown (ville découverte axée communauté homosexuelle), agréable à visiter.
sinon, rien de bien exceptionnel en rapport avec notre séjour précédent sur la cote ouest !

mystic river est à découvrir.
le port sert de musée et son accès est payant,24$/pers mais ça vaut le coup.
notre hotel à new york est très bien placé, dans l'avenue mythique de broadway, sans pour autant être bruyant !
pas de cafetière dans la chambre, ça manque !!

nous avons rendu notre première auto hier soir, un cabriolet aurait été inutile les jours précédents.

notre samedi a été consacré en majorité à la visite de brooklyn, à découvrir et emprunter le pont qui apporte un point de vue superbe.
pas moins de 3 heures dès 19H30 pour parvenir à visiter NY du haut de l'empire state building !!

New york, sérieux, pour nous, sans plus.
hormis broadway la nuit, c'est sympa mais quand on l'a vu une fois, 2 soirs suivant ça n'apporte rien.
tout ce trajet ne dépayse pas comme la cote ouest.
ça fait trop européen pour ceux qui vivent sur paris.
rien n'est moins cher que chez nous, électronique, nourriture, bijoux....

c'est très interessant.
on a l'historique de la monnaie US mais aussi de différents pays.
on a eu droit à la visite en sous sol à la salle des lingos, avec fermeture de la porte rotative en acier de 90T !!!
pas de photos autorisées et on laisse toutes notre quincaille à l'entrée dans des box !
ensuite, visite du batiment chrysler et de central station (gare métro)

on est bien heureux d'avoir quitté new york pour orlando, sans regret !
pour couronner le tout, 2 heures, sur le taxiway à attendre que la météo pluvieuse se calme, soit 5 h au lieu de 3 dedans ! (http://emotionautoprestige.com/Smileys/classic/emotions_0111.gif)
sinon, afin de mieux apprécier les lieux, on a récupéré un nissan Murano au lieu du cabriolet, en rajoutant 200$ pour les 8 jours ici.

aujourd'hui nous avons visité le musée auto à mont dora, le classic dream cars.
de très belles pompes à essence à vendre !
la plupart des autos sont également à vendre.
nous sommes allés ensuite à tarpon springs, la ville réputée pour la pêche à l'éponge.
puis à nouveau un musée auto dans la même ville, classic corvettes and collectables, de très belles pièces à vendre aussi.

nous avons mieux apprécié l'ambiance de key west que celle de miami, un peu dépravé comme ville !
demain matin, nous abandonnons notre nissan murano pour un décollage pour la louisane !

hier, visite des plantations.
obligation de prendre le ferry pour traverser la mississipi river.

aujourd'hui, départ pour natchez en passant par une dernière plantation !
aujourd'hui visite d'une dernière plantation, celle de destrehan, on peut s'en passer (15$/pers), sans intérêt !
ensuite, direction le bayou (zones marécageuses), superbe !!
puis direction visite de l'usine de tabasco, très intéressant.
3 ans de macération des piments dans un tonneau avant d'exploiter la mixture !!
et enfin, arrivée à La fayette !

hier départ de Natchez pour Memphis en passant par la plus belle route du parcours, celle de Jackson !
5H de route, on est tout de suite plongé dans l'ambiance Elvis !
déjà notre hotel, à 200m de l'habitation et du lieu "d'attractions" !
sa piscine est en forme de coeur, notre chambre est un studio et chacune des 2 télés diffusent non stop du Elvis, ainsi que partout dans l'hotel !
après la visite très sympa portant sur tout ce qui touchait à elvis, ses avions, habits, disques, habitation, son service militaire.., nous sous sommes rendu au centre ville qui est situé à 12 kms.
et là, à nouveau ambiance assurée avec l'avenue principale bloquée par les force de l'ordre en très grand nombre pour assurer la sécurité des nombreuses animations sonores dans chacun des bars et restos !

arrivée à Nashville, visite de 2 petits musées, un sur les heros de la série shériff fait moi peur je crois,
puis à 100 m, un autre sur quelques américaines, très petit !!
