I'm sure there'll be a few diehard Corvette fans here who might be slightly offended by the video below. But given the fact that the C7 is very much at home mingling in the world of high-priced exotics, I think the mix up puts the Corvette in good company.
In the clip below, a woman can be heard mistakenly calling a Porsche 918 Spyder a Corvette when inquiring about the year of the car. And while I know there are those who might frown on the idea of a 'Vette being compared to any import, there's a part of me that thinks a Corvette being mistaken for an 887 horsepower, $845,000 Porsche is kind of cool.
Of course, that's not to say that it's the kind of mix up you'd typically expect a person to make. But if nothing else, it certainly is a testament to the kind of appeal that the Corvette now has in the world of supercars.
